Hey, thanks for visiting my blog.

I am Muhammad Ery Wijaya, you may call me Ery or Wijaya. I was born 26 years ago in Kaliwungu, Kendal, Central Java. Kaliwungu is my hometown, the place where I grew and spent my childhood, the place with full of Islamic spirit. I spent my first university degree in Jogjakarta, the center of Javanese culture. My first postgraduate degree was spent in Bangkok, the city of Angels.

I am currently living in Kyoto, the center of Japanese culture. I am a PhD candidate at Graduate School of Energy Science, Kyoto University, Japan and belong to Energy Economics Laboratory (Tezuka’s Lab.). My research explores the relationship of human behavior to energy consumption in the present and future.

I am a registered member of International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE), World Society of Sustainable Energy Technologies (WSSET), and Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE)

I do love traveling, hiking, camping, cooking and playing badminton. I am interested in education, history, environment, computer and also photography. This blog is dedicated for all engineers that always make a better life for the better world.
